NYCIFF 2023

A runway show you see once, then it lives in the photos. A film you watch again, pause, send to whoever wasn't there. That's why in 2023 BYBLOS told its Fall-Winter collection through a film: the DNA series, the Devil corsets, an experimental soundtrack.

That September the film went to the first edition of the New York City International Fashion Film Festival and won Best Fashion: the award for the fashion seen in the film, which is to say the collection. In the same line-up that year, Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana and Ferragamo.

The award is for the collection. The film was just a way of getting it to New York without putting it on a plane.
